Out with the old, in with the new... media
Howard's gone from FM to Satellite.
Apple's fighting with the Beatle's heirs in courts after breaking their promise to never do anything music-related.
Gary Cohen is play-by-play, broadcasting Mets games at 1920x1080 High-Definition alongside Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez.
And yes, Mike Piazza is catching in sunny San Diego.

It's time we focus all of our Mets fandom, the grief, the horror, the despair, the pure dementia, and with any luck, the magic that happens about every 20-or-so years, into a new media ourselves. No more burning hours on chat, minutes on our cell phone bills, pulling out our precious hair, or yelling at transistor radios. Time to allow the neurons to bunch up, the beers to wear off, and discuss it like gentlemen.

I promise inasmuch as I plop myself in front of the tube or listen in to every game, to be a consistent light of content here, writing, photos and otherwise - this is our year after all!
