Nice call, and one that took balls. I keep thinking that Kaz isn't as bad as we have grown to think he is and you may very well be right that his bat may open some eyes in the sweltering days of August. He has already been so written off by the Mets faithfull that it would really makea great storyline if he contributed in any big way in 06. I think hernandez will be more than serviceable defensively. He has very good hands and has shown some nice footwork around the bag. He is also fast as hell. The real question is if he will hit. I'll check back with you in the summer and we can pick this conversation up. Should be an interesting year.
