I have extensive posts about Matsui on metsblog.com as well as the mets board - I will dig those up - I still seriously pull for the guy, he is a really amazing player the got 90% more booing than Carlos Beltran, what would that do to any of us. I think given a clean slate on the Mets again, or any other team for that matter, he'll be hitting .290 with 30 stolen bases and his defense will be just fine. More importantly, he was and would be clutch. As for A-Hern - well, he has already shown some pure suicidal guts in the field. A for effort but you wouldn't see some of our million dollar infielders on crosstown teams making such plays. OK, maybe Jeter once in a while... But, he can't hit for a lick so I'm looking for Matsui in April, not June....
